NotifyConnect is an automated service that alerts end customers of the arrival time of an order.
The alert can be an SMS text or an email notification to cater for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer scenarios. A link to a map can be added to the alert, so the end customer can track their order in real-time.
The user creates a WEBFLEET order with the customer telephone number and/or email address in the order text.
When the order is started, an email is sent to the customer with a link to a map that shows the location of the vehicle. The map updates every minute.
When the vehicle is a specified number of minutes away, the customer receives an update via SMS or email informing them of the arrival time.
Finally, once the order is complete, the map is disabled. Meaning that your customer is only able to track the vehicle whilst they are on route to them.
